Dear Authors,

We are delighted to invite you to submit your research papers to the Journal of Intercultural Communication's section on Gender Studies. The Journal of Intercultural Communication is committed to promoting open-access research and fostering interdisciplinary dialogue, and we believe that your contributions to this section will enrich our readers' understanding of gender-related issues in the context of intercultural communication.

Recommended Topics: We encourage submissions on a wide range of topics within Gender Studies and its intersection with Intercultural Communication. Some recommended areas of focus include but are not limited to:

  1. Intersectionality: Analyzing the intersection of gender with other identities such as race, ethnicity, class, religion, or sexual orientation in intercultural contexts.

  2. Gender and Language: Exploring the role of language in shaping and reflecting gender identities and norms in diverse cultural settings.

  4. Gender and Identity Negotiation: Examining the negotiation of gender identities in intercultural encounters and how it influences communication and relationships.

  6. Gender and Globalization: Investigating the effects of globalization on gender roles, power dynamics, and communication patterns.

  7. Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity: Exploring issues related to LGBTQ+ individuals in intercultural contexts, including coming out, acceptance, and discrimination.

  8. Gender and Migration: Examining the experiences of migrant and refugee populations concerning gender roles and identities in host cultures.

  9. Women's Rights in Islamic Law: Analyzing the rights and roles of women in Islamic legal frameworks, their interplay with cultural contexts, and their impact on intercultural communication
