We are writing to inform you of an important update regarding our review process. With the rise of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies, we aim to ensure that our review process remains rooted in the critical thinking and human expertise that are essential to scholarly communication.

To maintain the highest standards of academic integrity, we kindly request that reviewers avoid using AI tools during the review process. The unique insights and thoughtful analysis that you bring to each manuscript are irreplaceable and crucial for providing meaningful and constructive feedback to authors.

AI Review Policy

When a subject matter expert is invited to participate in the review process, the material/manuscript must be treated as confidential. Reviewers are not allowed to upload the material/manuscript or any part thereof into a generative AI tool, as this may violate ICRP’s and/or the authors’ confidentiality and proprietary rights and, where the material/manuscript contains personally identifiable information, may breach data privacy rights.
